THE SRK Lips
Check The Thick Red Luscious Lips and that big warm smile. I have always thought why this penchant for SRK. Does it relate to history somewhere? Do Indians have a liking for a certain kind of face type? Now this can not be a generic question and can not give a generic reply. But, my gut feeling, says that Shahrukh Khan and Yusuf Khan, are of the same mould.
Now I am sure you know who Yusuf Khan is. If you do not, then you were probably born yesterday. Yusuf Khan, also known as Dilip Kumar was the biggest star Indian Film Industry produced in 50's period. The uncanny similarity between the style of SRK and DK just hits the eye. Even the faces are cut in the similar manner. One was known as Tragedy King and the other is known as The King.
The Intense Actor
Check out the tension in the eyes and the firm jaw set. The picture speaks of the emotions going through the head. This was a path breaking movie from the Karan Johar stable. It had a different premise, a different way of looking at society, and of course the ever present underlying current of family values, victory for love in the end kind of situations.
Shah Rukh Khan has become something of a necessity for Karan Johar. Starting from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, the duo has combined well to spin out many a block busters like Kal Ho Na Ho. This reminds me, does Karan Johar has a fetish for the K words? All his movies are K obsessed, including King Khan.

"Chak De" Khan
The Tough coach from "Chak De India" with his motley gang.
This is one movie that has changed the fortunes for so many related things. Be it Indian Cricket, Indian Hockey or even the King Khan's standing in the movies itself. During the release of this movie, Indian Cricket team was in UK and it really lifted the Team India. The T20 world championship was won with the hit from the movie "Chak De India" becoming the anthem for Team India. At around the same time, The Indian Hockey team won the Asian Championship without losing any matches. So this movie indeed was magical for everyone.

Six Pack Man
For the filming of "Om Shanti Om", The King Khan went through a special training regime to have "Six Pack Abs". The movie was a hit and Director Farah Khan got rave reviews for the method in which the movie was handled. The spoofs taken on the old timers take a large portion of the movie but are handled in a way as to not make them look like a cliche. The songs of the movie were well received with Dard - E - Disco taking the honours in many a shows conducted for "Song Of The Year".

SRK In 2008
This gives King Khan almost the Matrix like appearance. Here are excerpts from his horoscope :
" Born on 2 November 1965, is an acclaimed actor-producer of international repute. He is practical, thinks things through, and likes to be in control. He is less interested in products than in concepts. The year 2008 will be a year of financial benefit.
On the other hand, he may have to bear criticism or face anti-social accusations hurled at him. Shah Rukh may launch a film related to wars. He will undertake a creative project about a well-known capitalist.
Personally, health will be a matter of concern for Shahrukh. He will also have to be very careful about his security. Chances are that someone known to him may be involved in a conspiracy against him."
