THE SRK Lips

Check The Thick Red Luscious Lips and that big warm smile. I have always thought why this penchant for SRK. Does it relate to history somewhere? Do Indians have a liking for a certain kind of face type? Now this can not be a generic question and can not give a generic reply. But, my gut feeling, says that Shahrukh Khan and Yusuf Khan, are of the same mould.

Now I am sure you know who Yusuf Khan is. If you do not, then you were probably born yesterday. Yusuf Khan, also known as Dilip Kumar was the biggest star Indian Film Industry produced in 50's period. The uncanny similarity between the style of SRK and DK just hits the eye. Even the faces are cut in the similar manner. One was known as Tragedy King and the other is known as The King.

The Intense Actor

Check out the tension in the eyes and the firm jaw set. The picture speaks of the emotions going through the head. This was a path breaking movie from the Karan Johar stable. It had a different premise, a different way of looking at society, and of course the ever present underlying current of family values, victory for love in the end kind of situations.

Shah Rukh Khan has become something of a necessity for Karan Johar. Starting from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, the duo has combined well to spin out many a block busters like Kal Ho Na Ho. This reminds me, does Karan Johar has a fetish for the K words? All his movies are K obsessed, including King Khan.
